A while back I was contacted by Brew Records with teaser information for an upcoming Zombie music video that, well, for obvious reasons would be of great interest to me. But life – as it typically does – got in the way and I’m super late on distributing this news. But like my 6th grade teacher used to say when I was late with homework, better late than never. Actually, that’s not what she said, but I’m not much of a writer so I just make shit up. Anyway…. The video is by the band Chickenhawk for the song “I hate this, do you like it?” and it’s the directorial debut by NME photographer Danny North.

At this point the teaser is kind of obsolete but still cool to see. And just for the record, any band that creates a teaser zombie video for the upcoming zombie video already has a place in my heart.

The teaser and the full length video are definitely worth your time. My personal favorite part is at the 2:50 mark on the full length video. During the drum solo, the drummer spontaneously turns into a zombie and blood spews from is face. He then proceeds to climb over the drums and eat his band-mates. Yeah, it’s pretty cool. The music is good too! It sounds like something you might hear in a zombie flick. Thrashing metal, yelling, intense drums, zombies eating your face – it all goes together. Enjoy kiddies…
